A man who overdosed on a Viagra pill has been spared a lengthy medical procedure, his lawyer said in a news release.
Ben Foulis, 38, had been taking the erectile dysfunction drug for four months before being prescribed Viagra, which he was prescribed to use for impotence.
In a news release, Foulis said he had been told he could not receive any Viagra treatment, adding that he was "very happy to have finally been able to have the chance to try this medicine."
According to the release, Foulis was given the order for Viagra to be taken by a doctor and he was given an injection of an "injection of sildenafil" (the active ingredient in the erectile dysfunction medication Viagra) to be administered intravenously, the statement said.
